Here at Williams Music, we believe that being surrounded by music plays a valuable role in the education of the whole person. As such, students get the choice to learn how to play an instrument, sing, or even do both! At such an important stage in development it is proven that exposure and participation in music (especially ensemble based music) develops students emotional, analytical and behavioural side. Students are taught how to communicate, and they are given real-world experiences that see them working alongside adult colleagues in the community.
The Music Department allows for students to find a balance between their schooling, hobbies, jobs and anything else that takes up their time. We support, and encourage a well-rounded experience!
Williams Music is not just a way to get an Arts credit for the OSSD… it’s a great place to develop lifelong friendships, memories and skills. Music is simply the vehicle in which things are taught.
